How to be promoted to Elder

Members are promoted to elder upon getting 1,000 medals in Clan Wars. Every Thursday - Sunday (most time zones) Clash Royale allows people in clans to play 4 clan wars games per day (1 game with each of 4 decks the player creates). 4 decks each day over 4 days is 16 games. Losing a game is 100 medals and winning is 200 or 250. You should easily be able to get 1,000 or more medals every week and doing that is when you get promoted to Elder.

Please don't do boat battles. Instead, do duels, regular battles, or the special mode available (usually x7 elixir, x3 elixir, x2 elixir, sudden death, or touchdown). Duels give 250 medals per win and 100 per loss. Other battles give 200 per win and 100 per loss.

Boat battles are not suggested or encouraged and they only give 125 per win and 75 per loss and are often counterproductive.

New members should log in frequently to request cards as well. Donating cards is optional, but requesting cards is required. Requesting cards is the only way other members can donate cards and donating cards gives experience and gold many people need. The exception is if all your available cards are level 14+, it's ok if you simply have every card and thus can't request more.
